The element of air is connected to the west in Asmiara and it is connected to fall. Like the leaves falling from the trees drifting on the wind. It is like the autumn breeze that grows as we prepare for winter the season that it is connected to. Autumn is adulthood the finding of one's path and changes if needed. It is about letting go of the past and embracing what comes next. It means accepting that nothing is permanent.
Autumn fairies are often thought of as warriors. They are often strong. They can be mysterious, eerie, yet ravishing and sometimes devious. They come closer to lying than any other fairy court and will be what is needed to achieve their goals. They are both born of tradition yet they realize change is sometimes needed and will pursue it when needed.
The King of Autumn, or Autumn King also the Knight of Winter or Winter's Knight is the ruler of the Autumn Court and protector of the Winter Queen. It is his duty as long as she lives to fulfill this role. The Eternal Winter Knight is also from the Autumn Court. And the Autumn Princess or Princess of Autumn who rules the court when the king is away.
